Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Congestive Heart Failure Triage Nurse for the Baptist Cardiology department at Baptist Pavilion! This is a Full-Time Days position.

Congestive Heart Failure Triage Nurse requires a candidate to have strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and flexibility. This is a very team and family oriented office! It is very busy and fast paced, so we are looking for a focused, task-oriented, self motivated, energetic team player who knows how to handle themselves in a professional environment while also having fun! Congestive Heart Failure Triage Nurse Responsibilities:

• Provides nursing assistance to physicians
• Greets and chaperons patients during medical part of visit
• Obtains vital signs
• Maintains medical documentation
• Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
• Handles and processes prescriptions and referrals
• Performs waived test list in laboratory and IV therapy

Education Required

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Experience

• Clinical Experience Preferred

License and Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
