Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking to add an EEG Technologist to our EEG Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time, day shift opportunity. This EEG Technologist will perform EEG studies and work closely with Neurology to perform scheduled and unscheduled tests. Certification Note: Registered EEG Technologist (ABRET) is required within 1 year of date of hire.

 

 As a EEG Technologist, you will be responsible for: 

  • Performing EEG studies.
  • Working closely with Neurology to perform scheduled and unscheduled tests. 
  • Monitoring in-patient Video EEG for an uninterrupted, clean recording.
  • Providing service education to staff and ancillary departments for the enhancement of patient care.
  • Effectively understanding the goals and implications of the monitoring study, including impact on the patient's lifestyle.

Experience

  • Less than 1 year EEG Experience
