Job Summary

Electrician, Plant Facilities Department, M-F, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Baptist Medical Center Beaches.

The position is a first responder to requests for electrical repairs on a large variety of equipment, systems and building components. The successful candidate will have outstanding customer service skills and a broad background in building, equipment and system repairs. The campus is large and complex; therefore everyday it brings new challenges and opportunities to provide top quality service.

As an Electrician you will be responsible for:

• Performs corrective and preventative maintenance relative to completion of scheduled and non-scheduled work orders
• Primary responsibilities will be electrical but will also be given general mechanical assignments as needed
• Operates and maintains technically sophisticated mechanical and electrical equipment
• Provides training to staff in use of utilities and equipment
• Performs detailed repair work as assigned and performs other related work

This position may be called upon to perform other duties and responsibilities outside the normal job classification yet still within the department. Also includes weekend scheduling, on-call rotation, alternate shift assignments or overtime as required.

Education Required

Associate's Degree

Experience

• Over 5 years Electrical Experience
• Over 5 years Electronic Experience
• 3-5 Years Plant Facilities Experience
• 1-2 years Healthcare Maintenance Experience

License and Certification

• Driver's License Required
• Journeyman License - Electrician Preferred
