Epic ClinDoc Principal Trainer, Clinical Systems Training, Baptist Medical Center
The primary responsibilities include the upkeep and enhancement of training materials for system technologies. This role entails close collaboration with operational leaders across multiple departments to guarantee that training content remains current and precise. Moreover, this individual will actively contribute to the creation of educational resources concerning IS development and system updates. This position requires advanced knowledge of Epic.
As an Epic ClinDoc Principal Trainer Requirement, you will be responsible for:
- Reports to an Epic Training Manager, and is responsible for understanding and applying adult learning theory, and instructional design principles to project-related work.
- Serves as a liaison and representative to Epic and Baptist Health communities, work groups, and committees.
- Performs task analysis, long-term, and short-term planning, and determines training needs of the end users.
- Collaborates with the instructional designers to ensure all content being developed is deployed through modalities that offer the best opportunities for team members to understand and adopt the elements into their practices.
- Minimum of one Epic application certification.
- Certified in at least one other application within the first 6 months into the position.
