Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking to add a Floor Technician Finisher to join our Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, Environmental Services team. This position is a full-time opportunity working various shifts from 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays. The Floor Technician Finisher is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. 

Floor Technician Finisher General Responsibilities:

  • Floor Finisher position performs major floor cleaning and refreshing throughout the medical center.
  • Performs all Environmental Services-related tasks.
  • Performs heavier cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using prescribed methods.
  • Maintains assigned equipment for cleanliness and recommends repairs as needed.
  • Performs all other tasks which may be assigned.

Baptist Health is proud to utilize state of the art UV Disinfection Technology via UV Robotic Machines. These machines break down the DNA of germs in the hospital environment before manual cleaning of an area is performed, keeping our team members and patients better protected.

Experience

  • 3-5 Years Housekeeping Experience
