Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add enthusiastic and detail-oriented interns for both CT & MRI modalities in our Radiology Baptist Health Clinical School Department at Baptist Medical Center located in Jacksonville, FL. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in advanced modalities, working alongside experienced technologists and radiologists in a supportive learning environment. This internship provides assistance to the technical staff by transporting patients, screening patients, and obtaining patient records. As training progresses, interns will assume a more hands-on technical role in the department by performing diagnostic exams on patients under the direct supervision of a registered technical professional. This is a full-time opportunity.

Positions in any full time, part time, or PRN position are available once the program has been completed.

The CT & MRI Interns will be responsible for:

• Must be a graduate of an AMA (American Medical Association) approved School of Radiology, comply with ARRT (American Registry Radiologic Technologists) Standard of Ethics, complete on line program approved by the ARRT for the modality education and perform and document clinical procedures required.
• Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Program interns are to register and sit for ARRT modality specific exam within the agreed upon time frame outlined by the training program.
