Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist, Special Procedures Department, PRN, Baptist Clay

Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add an Interventional Radiologic (IR) Technologist to our Special Procedures Department at our Baptist Clay location, located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN opportunity, various shifts. 

As an Interventional Radiologic (IR) Technologist you will be responsible for:

• Performs high quality radiographic images.
• Functions as member of a team performing interventional procedures.
• Works under sterile conditions, very similar to the OR.
• Promotes good will among co-workers and other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
• Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Must participate in on-call coverage.
• Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.

Experience

• Less than 1 year Radiologic Technologist Experience
• Experience performing special interventional procedures
• Experience working in a hospital setting
• Customer Service Experience
• Experience with vascular imaging procedures

License and Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
• Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography ARRT (CI) Required Or
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required
• Registered Technologist in Cardiovascular ARRT (CV) Required Or
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required
