Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking to add a Maintenance Technician to our Plant Facilities Department at Baptist Medical Center Nassau. This is a full-time Days opportunity.

As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for:

  • Performing corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
  • Performing regular scheduled preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment.
  • Completion of work orders and has knowledge of applicable codes.
  • The position is responsible for in depth service of complex equipment such as pumps, compressors, hydraulics, pneumatics and many types of hospital equipment.
  • The successful candidate will have service experience with a broad background of equipment and systems; be willing to learn the unique systems and equipment utilized to support healthcare.
  • The Plant Facilities Department is comprised of many different skill-sets working together to provide first class support to the direct care giving team.
