Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant in our Primary Care Department at Baptist Primary Care Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra, Florida. This opening is a full-time opportunity.

This position is for the Baptist Primary Care Sawgrass, a new concierge medicine office. The experienced candidate will perform front office Medical Assistant duties, such as handle check in check out and complete referrals.

As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Provides nursing assistance to physician
• Obtains vital signs
• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
• Maintains medical documentation
• Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
• Processes prescription requests and referrals

Education Required

High School Diploma/GED

Education Preferred

Associate's Degree

Experience

• 3-5 Years Experience working in a Medical Office Preferred
• 2 years Medical Assistant Experience Preferred

License and Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Preferred
