Baptist Health is currently looking for a Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our Laboratory department at Baptist Medical Center. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity working in MOB2 Outpatient area. 

 

Baptist South is serving the rapidly growing neighborhoods in southern Duval and northern St. Johns counties. The hospital blends resort-like amenities with the most advanced medical care, providing for the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of patients and their families. This candidate must have customer service and phlebotomy experience. 

 

As a Medical Laboratory Assistant you will be responsible for: 

  • Performs a variety of clerical and technical duties associated with the pre- and post-analytical handling of laboratory specimens and results.
  • Communicates laboratory results and responds to specimen-related questions from physicians and various other caregivers.
  • Collects blood specimens for routine and special laboratory procedures.
  • Utilizes computer functions.

Experience

  • 3-5 Years Phlebotomy Experience

License and Certification
