Mental Health Technician, Nights, Wolfson Children's Hospital

Job Summary

*Up to $500 Sign on bonus for Full-Time*

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Mental Health Technician in our Behavioral Health Unit at Wolfson Children's Hospital. This is a full-time nights opportunity 7:00pm to 7:00am.

As a Mental Health Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Provides care to patients in a manner that considers safety, comfort, and therapeutic environment under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Documents observations on assigned patients.
• Communicates appropriate information regarding patient's condition.
• Assists with patient education groups, total milieu supervision, assists with admissions/discharges as assigned.

*CPI Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

• Less than 1 year Mental Health Technician Experience
• Nursing Assistant Experience
• Corpsman Experience

License and Certification

• Crisis Prevention Certification (CPI) Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
