Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a talented MRI Technologist to our Radiology department at Baptist Medical Center located in Jacksonville, Florida. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely imaging results. This MRI Technologist, will be responsible for the following:
- Performing high quality MRI scans in accorance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Monitor patients during procedures, providing reassurance and answering any questions.
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring optional performance and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists to obtain high quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Adhere to infection control and radiation safety protocols.
- Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.

- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
- Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required Or
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required Or
- Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging ARRT (MR) Required Or
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required Or
- Licensed Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Required Or
