Baptist Medical Center is hiring an Office Specialist II for the AgeWell Department in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a full-time position working a Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm schedule at Baptist AgeWell Jacksonville.
The Office Specialist II will support the AgeWell Department to accurately register all patients and update demographic and insurance information for maintenance of accurate information. This position requires an individual who can multitask and obtains excellent written and verbal communication, organizational skills and a previous experience in clerical work.

Office Specialist II, AgeWell Department, Job Responsibilities:
- Providing business services for patients and the healthcare system.
- Ensuring accurate patient registration.
- Posting patient charges and payments.
- Operating a multi-line phone system while maintaining telephone protocols.
- Assisting patients as needed.
- Reviewing and following up on unpaid insurance claims.
- Processing mail on a daily basis.
- Working with insurance carriers and Baptist Primary Care Centers.
