Job Summary
We are looking to add an Emergency Department Technician II to our Emergency Department at Baptist Medical Center South. This is a Full-time Evenings position, with the shift being from 1PM-1AM.
The Emergency Department Technician will be responsible for:
- Assisting RNs in the Emergency Department with the care of patients who have healthcare needs including activities of daily living
- Maintaining a safe environment
- Collecting lab specimens
- Intake and Output monitoring
- Electronic medical record documentation
- Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
An active Registered Paramedic license required

Education Preferred
Associate's Degree
Experience
- Less than 1 year Hospital Experience Required
- Less than 1 year Trasnport Medicine Setting Experience Required
- Less than 1 year Patient Care Experience Required
License and Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Incident Command system (ICS) 300, 400 Preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
- Licensed Registered Paramedic Required
