Job Summary
Baptist Health is looking to add a dedicated Paramedic to work in the Emergency Department at Baptist Medical Center South. This is a Full-time, Nights position. This Paramedic will assist with IV placement, drawing labs, transporting patients throughout the hospital, answering call lights, toileting patients, obtaining vital signs, and EKG's. They are also a very important part of our CODE BLUE team and our decontamination team.
The Paramedic will be responsible for assisting the Registered Nurse (RN) with the care of patients who have healthcare needs including:
- Activities of Daily Living
- Maintaining a safe environment
- Collecting lab specimens
- Intake and output monitoring
- Electronic medical record documentation

Experience
- Less than 1 year Hospital Experience Required
- Less than 1 year Trasnport Medicine Setting Experience Required
- Less than 1 year Patient Care Experience Required
License and Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Incident Command system (ICS) 300, 400 Preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
- Licensed Registered Paramedic Required
