Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking for a Patient Care Technician/OR Technician to support our Surgical Services Team in the Main Operating Room at Baptist Medical Center Clay. This is a PRN Various Shifts position.

As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), your responsibilites will include:

  • Maintaining clean and orderly work environment as assigned.
  • Operating room turn over and cleaning.
  • Transporting instrument carts to and from Sterile Processing Department.
  • Assist nursing staff transporting specimens, promoting patient safety and compliance with regulatory standards and policies.

Education Required

High School Diploma/GED

Education Preferred

Associate's Degree

Experience

  • 1-2 years Surgical Services Experience
  • Experience working in an Acute Care setting

License and Certification

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
