Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Clinical Dietitian II to our Dietary Department at Wolfson Children's Hospital, located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN opportunity.

As a Pediatric Clinical Dietitian II, you will be responsible for:

• Assuring patients receiving appropriate nutrition.
• Implementing and maintaining plans of care for speciality area patients.
• Providing education for children diagnosed with diabetes and their families on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
• Supporting Endocrinologists in a clinical setting.
• Communicating well with multidisciplinary staff.
• Attending community events to promote Diabetes Center and serve as community resource for education and training, including area school nurses.
• Performing other functions as assigned and helps to maintain and improve department quality results.
• Developing personal goals.

• 1-2 years Clinical Inpatient Nutrition Care Experience

License and Certification

• Registered Dietitian (RD) Required
• Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) Preferred
• Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) Preferred Or
• Certified Specialist in Gerontological Nutrition (CSG) Preferred Or
• Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management Preferred Or
• Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition (CSO) Preferred Or
• Certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition (CSP) Preferred Or
• Certified Specialist in Renal Nutrition (CSR) Preferred Or
• Certified Specialist in Pediatric Critical Care Nutrition Preferred Or
• Licensed Dietitian Required
