Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Pediatric Physical Therapist to our Outpatient team at Wolfson Children's Hospital, in Jacksonville FL! This is a PRN day shift opportunity with potential to float to other campuses as needed. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working as a Pediatric Physical Therapist.

As a Pediatric Outpatient Physical Therapist, you would be responsible for:

  • Perform mat evaluations on pediatric patients.
  • Conducts equipment trials and completes letters of medical necessity for pediatric equipment including: gait trainers, special needs beds, activity chairs, standrs, bath chairs, and medical child passenger safety seats.
  • Evaluates pediatric patients for custom wheelchairs.
  • Performs clinic trials.
  • Provides patient and caregiver training and education.
  • Works collaboratively with DME providers as well as alternative funding sources. 
  • Participates in departmental operations and in performance improvement activities.
  • Responsible for remaining within budget guidelines.
  • Participates in mandatory education and licensure requirements.

*Active BLS from the American Heart Association and licensure from the FL Department of Health required*
