Job Summary
Baptist Health is currently seeking an experienced Lead Pharmacy Technician at Baptist Medical Center Clay! This is a full-time, various-shift opportunity. This position will rotate between day, evening, and weekend shifts. A pharmacy technician license in the State of Florida is required for this position. This candidate should also have at least 3-5 years of experience in sterile compounding.
In addition to the staffing tasks and duties of a pharmacy technician, a Lead Pharmacy Technician is responsible for:
- Working with pharmacy leadership to maintain proper work flow and improving processes.
- Supporting the technician team.
- Assisting with technician scheduling activities.
- Participating in recruitment, on-boarding, and technician education programs.
- Providing feedback for annual technician evaluations.
- Overseeing the monthly technician meeting.
