Job Summary
Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Registered Pharmacy Technician to our team at Baptist Medical Center South. This is a full-time, opportunity working 7 days on / 7 days off (Wednesday - Tuesday), from days and evenings. This candidate will be required to be on their feet most of the day and will be very mobile throughout the hospital as they distribute medicine to various floors. This candidate must be comfortable working with an automated dispensing cabinet and performing refills frequently. This candidate should have excellent customer service skills as well. A Pharmacy technician license in the state of Florida is required for this position.
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting the pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications.
- Maintaining the drug inventory.
- Maintaining patient records.
- Working under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist.
