Phone Triage Office Specialist, Primary Care, Baptist South

Job Summary

*Up to a $1,000 Sign on Bonus Available*

We are looking for an experienced Office Specialist for the Baptist Primary Care office located at Baptist South. This position will report to work Monday through Friday.

The Office Specialist for Baptist Primary Care will provide business services for patients via telephone. This Office Specialist position will work primarily in a phone room and will receive incoming calls on a rotation basis and will be the point for medical records.

This Primary Care office is conveniently located on the corner of I-95 and Old St. Augustine Road at the Baptist South campus.

Responsibilities for the Office Specialist will include:

• Patient registration
• Scheduling new appointments
• Changing and canceling appointments
• Updating demographics
• Assisting with medical records
• Communicating with Providers and other office staff regarding patient care
• Additional responsibilities on an as needed basis

Associate's Degree

Experience

• 1-2 years Front Desk Experience Preferred
• Experience working in a Medical Office Preferred
