Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Radiology Technologist in our Radiology Department at our Downtown facility in Jacksonville, FL.Part-Time, days opportunity working Monday through Friday from 8:30am - 1:30pm The primary responsibility of our Radiology Technologist is to ensure physicians and other members of a patient’s care team receive high-quality images they can use to make diagnoses or assess the success of treatments. This is a. Must take 11p-7a call at the hospital on a rotational basis (on average 2-3 days per month) Must take weekend call at the hospital on a rotational basis from 7a-11p Sat & Sun which occurs approximately every 8 weeks. We are looking for someone who is experienced in fluoro, minor OR cases, portables and diagnostic x-rays with both oncology and non Oncology patients. Must be a team player.

This Radiology Technologist will:

  • Perform general diagnostic, operative, and emergency room procedures at a level not requiring constant supervision.
  • Must be able to do fluoro, minor OR cases, portables and diagnostic x-rays with both oncology and non Oncology patients.
  • Promotes good will amongst co-workers and with other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
  • Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.

License and Certification

  • Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required
