Radiology Technologist, Part-Time, Baptist

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Radiology Technologist to our Radiology Department at our Downtown facility in Jacksonville, FL. The primary responsibility of our Radiology Technologist is to ensure physicians and other members of a patient’s care team receive high-quality images they can use to make diagnoses or assess the success of treatments. This is a Part-Time, working Sunday from 6:30am to 5:00pm, Monday from 7:00am to 3:30pm, and Tuesday from 7:00am to 2:30pm. Working in all areas of the department (ED, Fluoro, OR and Diagnostics). Must work at least one (1) evening, night and weekend shift per month. There is a rotating call for weekends and night shift (11:00pm-7:00am). Holiday call of 2 shifts annually.

Shift is Sun 630a-5p , Mon 7a-330p and Tues 7a-230p .

This Radiology Technologist will:  

• Perform general diagnostic, operative, and emergency room procedures at a level not requiring constant supervision.
• Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.
• Promotes good will amongst co-workers and with other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
• Reports to Lead Technologist on shift. Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements

Education Preferred

Associate's Degree

Experience

• Customer Service Experience
• Radiology/Imaging Experience
• Experience working in a hospital setting

License and Certification

• Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required
