Registered Respiratory Therapist, PRN, Town Center

Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking to add a Registered Respiratory Therapist to our Town Center location. This is a PRN, day shift opportunity. Must be open to working at our other freestanding Emergency Departments. As a Respiratory Therapist you will work with our patients providing respiratory treatments such as providing oxygen, manage ventilators, and administer drugs.

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Providing respiratory care medications.
• Performing respiratory care procedures, such as assisting with intubations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience

• 2 years Respiratory Therapy Experience Required

License and Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred Or
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Preferred Or
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Preferred Or
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Preferred Or
• Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Required
• Florida Licensed Respiratory Therapist Preferred

The new 16-bed emergency center at the St. Johns Town Center houses two emergency centers under one roof - one for adults and one for children.  Conveniently located near the intersection of Interstate 295 and Town Center Parkway, the Baptist/Wolfson Children's emergency center is a true hospital ER, staffed 24/7 by board-certified emergency medicine physicians.  On-site technology includes ultrasound, CT scanner, X-ray, a full service laboratory and telemedicine consultation services.
