Revenue Cycle Business Analyst

Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is hiring a Full-time Revenue Cycle Business Analyst to join the team at our Southbank Plaza location in Jacksonville, FL. This is a day-shift opportunity. 

As a Revenue Cycle Business Analyst, you will drive meetings and develop annual work plans. This team member is also responsible for high-level reporting and presentations. Revenue Cycle Business Analyst's primary function is to provide analysis, support, and consultation to the leadership of the various revenue cycle components. The analysis will give analytical insight for all reporting specific to the revenue cycle area. This includes creating and maintaining all departmental scorecards, dashboards, and ad hoc reporting using various source systems.

As a Revenue Cycle Business Analyst, you will be responsible for: 

• Providing analysis, support, and consultation to the leadership on the various components of the revenue cycle. 
• Providing analytical insight for all reporting specific to the revenue cycle area. 
• Creating and maintaining all departmental scorecards, dashboards, and ad hoc reporting using various source systems. 
• Responsible for determining the root cause of revenue cycle problems, questionable variations, glitches, etc. 
• Collaborate with revenue cycle leadership to develop corrective action plans as needed. Based on appropriate analysis, they will recommend modifications to established practices and procedures or system functionality as needed to support optimal productivity and efficiency within the revenue cycle areas. 
• Work with internal customers to ensure newly implemented workflows and procedures are hardwired and maintained to achieve financial goals best. 
• Create, facilitate, implement, and evaluate project plans required for ongoing operations and quality and productivity improvements.

License and Certification

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred
