Job Summary

Baptist Health looking to add a Security Support Specialist to our Protective Services Department at Baptist South. This is a PRN, nights opportunity, with the hours of 8:30 PM - 5:00 AM, Saturday & Sunday.

As a Security Support Specialist you will be responsible for:

  • This position provides logistical and technical support to the Safety & Security department by running the visitor management systems
  • Assisting Security Officers with investigations by reviewing of video surveillance systems and access control logs
  • Assisting with access controls systems
  • Creating badges for the system
  • Conducting fire extinguisher inspections
  • Data entry for parking violations
  • Supporting the Safety & Security department as directed by the Executive Director of Safety & Security

Education Required

High School Diploma/GED

Education Preferred

Associate's Degree

Experience

  • Less than 1 year Security Officer Experience
  • Health Care Experience Preferred

License and Certification

  • International Assn for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) Safety Certification Preferred
