Job Summary
The Sr. Physician Recruitment Coordinator will play a critical role in enhancing our physician/provider outreach to identity top talent join Baptist Medical Group. This position will be integral to building our physician pipeline to support our growing needs, particularly focusing on residency and fellowship programs. The role involves leveraging various sourcing tools and strategies to identify and engage physicians that align with our strategic goals and objectives. In addition to supporting our sourcing/outreach strategy this candidate will assist with the day-to-day coordination of physician candidate interviews, collaborating with clinical and administrative stakeholders through the form of calendaring and itinerary development and also assist with integration and onboarding of our providers to ensure they have an optimal transition.
- Develop and maintain relationships with medical schools, residency/fellowship programs, and other healthcare organizations to build physician candidate pipeline.
- Develop & facilitate and national sourcing strategy targeting that aligns with service line goals and objectives.
- Serve as a liaison between physician recruiters and service line stakeholders.
- Serve as the initial point of contact physician candidates and assess alignment with service line needs.
- Comfortable utilizing ATS/HRIS tracking systems.
- Support physician recruitment team with the scheduling and coordination of provider interviews encompassing both calendaring and itinerary development.
- Partnering with the recruitment team to ensure we have a brand presence on specialty boards and social medial platforms.
- Attend career fairs and conferences as needed.
- Support the onboarding of newly hired providers by assisting with pertinent HR components, orientation and ensuring providers have appropriate network and health system access.

Experience
- 1-2 years of healthcare recruitment experience (preferably in physician/provider recruitment) is required.
- 1-2 years of database management experience is required.
- 1-2 years of Customer Service Experience required.
- A background in healthcare recruitment is highly preferred, particularly with experience in recruiting physicians and healthcare providers.
- Comfort with engaging and calling physician candidates is preferred.
- Strong ability to create and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and external candidates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is preferred.
- Ability to analyze data and identify patterns and trends in content marketing data is preferred.
- Exceptional multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage both short-term and long-term projects while delivering high-quality work.
- Highly organized, with strong project management and time management skills.
- Experience in providing reports and summaries on marketing activities is preferred.
