SharePoint Administrator

Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking to add a SharePoint Administrator to join our team located at Baptist Jacksonville in a Hybrid setting.

The SharePoint Administrator will oversee and manage SharePoint online/on-premise environments, including permissions, security settings, site collections, and databases. This individual will perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and updates to ensure optimal performance and security compliance. Configure and manage SharePoint solutions, workflows, and libraries based on department and organization needs.

Design and develop custom SharePoint applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and SharePoint Framework (SPFx). Implement and maintain custom web parts, pages, and user-friendly dashboards to enhance productivity. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and customize SharePoint sites to improve end-user experience. This position  involves meticulously coordinating and overseeing testing events for Epic modules and integrated third-party solutions, ensuring each system meets quality and functionality standards before implementation. This role will work closely with clinical and IT teams to streamline communication, manage timeliness, and swiftly resolve any issues, enabling seamless integration and optimal system performance across our healthcare network.

SharePoint Administrator responsibilities:

• Designs and develops primarily Internet/web pages, applications such as e-commerce and content-driven websites. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements applications using a variety of languages and platforms such as Java, C, C++, C#, Python, PHP, JavaScript, SQL, Scala, Objective-C and Swift.
• Develops proof-of-concepts and prototypes of easy-to-navigate user interfaces (UI) that consist of graphics, icons and color schemes that are visually appealing.
• Ensures that applications are compatible across multiple computing platforms and browsers.
• May require familiarity with streaming media concepts and techniques, including digital video and audio codes such as H.264, MPEG-4 and FLAC.
• May also involve responsive web design techniques Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines. Solves complex problems. Works independently, receives minimal guidance.
• May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives.
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
