Social Work Supervisor, Wolfson Children's Hospital

Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is hiring a Social Work Supervisor to oversee our Social Services team at Wolfson Children's Hospital located in Jacksonville, FL! This is a Full-Time position working in our Social Services department. This full time schedule is Monday through Friday working from 8:00AM - 4:30PM with flexibility to adjust to a 9:00AM - 5:30PM shift if needed. Call is required with this position as a departmental need.  This Supervisor will oversee a 12 bed NICU unit at our children's hospital. This supervisor's responsibilities include but not limited to performing annual evaluations for employees, one-on-ones with the team, and working collaboratively with the nursing staff within the NICU unit.  

Education & Credentialing: MSW required,  LCSW preferred.

The responsibilities of this Social Work Supervisor will include: 

• Functioning as a member of the leadership team and works under the direction of department director.
• Managing day to day operations of the Pediatric Social Work team to ensure that patient care is delivered efficiently with excellent quality outcomes and an exceptional patient experience.
• Providing direct care interventions to meet the patient and family needs.
• Serving as a resource to and collaborates with others to advance the organization mission and vision.
