Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a Speech Language Pathologist to our Acute Care Rehab Team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a part-time opportunity (24 hours per week) working Day shift at our Downtown campus. This schedule for this position is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; 8-hour Days. This position will also be part of a weekend (Saturday or Sunday) coverage rotation. 

This is a part-time opportunity working in an adult acute care setting. The ideal candidate would have previous experience in Modified Barium Swallow Studies in an acute care setting.

Speech Language Pathologist, Outpatient Rehab, Job Responsibilities: 

• Evaluates and treats patients of all diagnoses.
• Provides extensive patient/family education.
• Participates in multidisciplinary team care with other rehab professionals, nursing, physicians, dietitians, social services, respiratory, support staff, etc.
• Works in a fast-paced setting requiring good time management, detailed documentation skills in the EMR, self-directed, and effective communication skills.
