Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking to add a Supply Technician to our Materials Management team at Baptist Medical Center Nassau. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity, working Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm, with alternating weekends.

This position will work directly with licensed healthcare professionals and will make an impact on their ability to care for our patients. The ideal Supply Tech candidate will combine customer service and warehousing experience to service our customers and maintain adequate stock on their unit.

As a Supply Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing nursing supply needs
  • Finding substitutes for medical supplies in the event that we cannot order our usual items
  • Receiving supplies from carriers and distributes to customers
  • Warehousing supplies, inventory control, equipment cleaning and distribution
  • Customer service desk, telephone coverage
  • The ideal candidate has strong critical thinking skills, systems knowledge and experience, and problem solving skills
