Job Summary
Baptist Medical Center Beach is looking to add a Patient Transporter in our Patient Escort Services Department at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville Beach. This is a PRN opportunity.
The primary responsibilities of the Transporter are:
- accept patient move assignments from the Dispatcher
- to provide a safe and efficient transport of the patient;
- This may be done utilizing a wheelchair, stretcher, or bed and must always be done in a quick yet safe manner.
- work closely with the nursing staff to ensure that continuity of patient care is maintained at all times.
- be compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
