Job Summary

Oversee the management, maintenance, implementations, upgrades, support and enhancements of these application systems to meet or exceed standards of performance and availability to the health system and its patients. This role will also be a key business partner across all levels of the organization, including executive leadership. This will require very strong negotiating and people skills to facilitate the delivery and support of the applications for both inpatient and outpatient care systems, ERP, revenue cycle systems, and others. Significant demonstrated Epic electronic health record experience, innovation, and clinical outcomes success is a requirement for this role. The VP, IS Applications must be highly knowledgeable about both technology as well as the operational and business processes that depend on the technology supported. The ability to make and retain relationships across all departments will be critical. This position will serve as a role model and champion of Baptist Health's mission and vision.

  • Over 15 years Healthcare IT Experience Required
  • 5-7 years EPIC Experience Required
  • 5-7 years Lean six sigma or similar implementation of process improvement methodology Required
  • 7 + years Senior Management Experience Required
  • 3-5 Years Major Healthcare ERPs such as Lawson, Workday, etc Required
