Job Summary
Baptist Health is hiring a Volunteer & Community Relations Coordinator. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity located at Baptist Medical Center South.
The Community Relations Coordinator is responsible for:
- Managing and overseeing all volunteers on the Baptist South Campus.
- Ownership of reviewing and maintaining the Handbook and Policy & Procedures for Volunteers.
- Deploying strategies and initiatives related to promoting health issues both internally at Baptist and externally in the community.
- Builds and establishes relationship with various schools and key community partners.
- Oversees all community relations strategies and initiatives at Baptist South.
- Participates in hospital service area coalitions for health.
This position requires strong interpersonal, leadership, accountability and customer service skills.
This position will be proficient in health promotion, health education, volunteer services, event planning and people management.
