A healthier tomorrow starts here: the new Baptist Nassau Crossing Medical Campus in Yulee
The health care hub expands access to primary care, heart specialists, endoscopic procedures, emergency care and imaging services.
Jacksonville, FL.
After the 2024 opening of the Baptist Emergency and Imaging Center at Nassau Crossing, new services are now available at the Baptist Nassau Crossing Medical Campus. These include:
- Baptist Primary Care
- Baptist Heart Specialists
- Borland Groover Medical Office
- Nassau Crossing Endoscopy Center
By expanding Baptist Health’s longstanding presence in Nassau County to the Wildlight area, residents of all ages can now receive first-class care closer to home. Plus, the Baptist Nassau Crossing Medical Campus is also significantly contributing to the local economy by bringing nearly 100 full-time jobs to the area.
Located at 462626 State Road 200 just east of I-95, the 56,588-square-foot campus serves the people living or working in the Yulee, Callahan, Hilliard, and surrounding areas. It is designed to allow for future expansions to meet the growing needs of the community.
“Baptist Health is committed to increasing access to high-quality health care, and one way we are accomplishing this is by expanding our footprint into areas where our services are most needed,” said Catherine Graham, MSH, senior vice president of clinical service lines and ambulatory business development. “By offering vital health services such as heart care, emergency care, imaging and health screenings, the Baptist Nassau Crossing Medical Campus is a convenient health care hub for local residents.”
From primary care to outpatient endoscopies, colonoscopies and more
The campus includes a medical office building for Baptist Primary Care physicians, alongside facilities for cardiologists from Baptist Heart Specialists, offering expert heart care.
The site is also home to a Borland Groover Medical Office and the Nassau Crossing Endoscopy Center. The Borland Groover office features 12 exam rooms and expanded infusion services providing treatment to patients with autoimmune disorders, such as Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, plaque psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis. The four-room ambulatory surgery center offers endoscopies, along with expert screening and diagnostic colonoscopies, making it more convenient for locals to undergo regular colonoscopies, which are crucial for the early detection of colon cancer.
The Baptist Emergency and Imaging Center, which opened in early November, features two 24-hour emergency departments under one roof. One is for adults and the other leverages the extensive resources of Wolfson Children’s emergency network to meet the specific medical needs of children aged 0 to 18. The adjoining imaging center for adults and children is outfitted with the latest technology to provide X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, mammography and bone density screenings.
Baptist Nassau Crossing Medical Campus is about 13 miles west of Baptist Medical Center Nassau, an award-winning, A-rated hospital serving the communities of Nassau County and Southeast Georgia for nearly three decades.
“We’re proud to be a longstanding contributor to the health and vitality of Nassau County, and we remain dedicated to those who have entrusted us with their health for so long,” said Tara Beth Anderson, MSN, RN, NE-BC, hospital president of Baptist Medical Center Nassau. “We are excited to expand our reach and look forward to continuing to support the community’s health needs for the next 30 years and beyond.”
