Baptist Health and Wolfson Children’s Hospital continue collaboration with THE PLAYERS Championship

Baptist Health and Wolfson Children’s Hospital will continue its collaboration with THE PLAYERS Championship by providing comfort, convenience and first aid care for those attending the tournament, which will take place March 7 – 12, 2023.

Open to all ticketholders, the Family Lounge is a comfortable space with amenities for parents, babies and young children. Inside the air-conditioned space are private rooms for parents to change diapers, pump milk and feed their babies. Diapers, wipes and other products will be provided inside.

Baptist Health is also providing medical care to attendees at the First Aid Headquarters, located near No. 8 tee. Additional locations can be found near the No. 4 tee, No. 9 tee, Davis Love III entry (near the No. 10 tee) and No. 15 tee.

THE PLAYERS Center for Child Health at Wolfson Children’s Hospital, which reaches beyond the walls of the hospital to promote safe and healthy childhoods for all children in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia, will provide families with educational materials on safe sleep, child injury prevention, and pediatric emergency care.

On Wednesday, March 8, THE PLAYERS Center for Child Health is the designated Charity of the Day. THE PLAYERS Championship Charity of the Day program allows local organizations to raise awareness during tournament week and spotlight advocacy work across the Northeast Florida community.

Additionally, babies who are born the week of the tournament at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville; Baptist Medical Center South; Baptist Medical Center Beaches and Baptist Medical Center Clay, as well as those who are in the Wolfson Children’s NICUs at the hospitals mentioned above will receive a commemorative onesie from THE PLAYERS. Each onesie will be accompanied by a card with safe sleep practices, courtesy of THE PLAYERS Center for Child Health at Wolfson Children’s Hospital.
