Baptist Health executive celebrated as financial leader to know

Keith Tickell, MBA, senior vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) of Baptist Health, was recently named by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of 160 CFOs to know for 2024. The list celebrates individuals whose leadership enhances the financial well-being of their hospitals and health systems.
Tickell has more than 40 years of experience in finance, strategic assets and operations. He joined Baptist health in 2015 as senior vice president, strategic assets/real estate, and assumed his current role in 2022. As CFO, he is responsible for the health system’s financial sustainability, which includes strategic planning, financial reporting and tax and treasury functions, as well as its real estate ventures, including property management and development projects.
He also has oversight over Baptist Health’s investments in the community through educational programs, including courses to prepare current and future team members for long-term success in health care, and various other initiatives that contribute to the positive development and well-being of those living in and around Jacksonville.
Active within the Jacksonville community, he is a member of the board for Baptist Physician Partners and First Coast YMCA. He received his Master of Business Administration from Emory University in Atlanta and his Bachelor of Arts in business administration from the University of South Florida.
