About Me
I am originally from Indiana, but I've absolutely loved living in Jacksonville, especially with all the sunshine and no snow! My oldest son lives in Colorado, and we have so much fun snowboarding and hiking together. My daughter is in Seoul, South Korea, and we’re fortunate to visit her twice a year. My youngest son just finished his last year of college football and is now training for the NFL combine. My husband and I stay very active and enjoy boating, swimming, and hiking in our free time.
My approach to care centers on listening closely to my patients and integrating their perspectives into the treatment process. I believe in empowering patients with the information they need about their health and well-being, enabling them to make informed decisions. I also advocate for a preventive approach to care, as it leads to better outcomes for patients.
It is very important to me to serve both locally and internationally in my community. I volunteer with a local free mobile clinic and also serve on various medical mission teams worldwide. Every three months, I travel to El Salvador to volunteer at an orphanage through the Hands of Hope ministry.
