About Me
Prior to attending medical school, I played four years of college football at the University of Kansas, where I was named to the Big 8 Conference All-Academic team. I spent four years as an assistant team physician for the Kansas City Royals and currently serve as a team physician for the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp. I am married with four boys and love working out, golfing, and fishing.
It gives me tremendous satisfaction to see my patients return to their active lifestyles after I have cared for them. I believe in trying several modalities before attempting surgery.
I try to donate my time educating the community. I have given several seminars on the prevention of injuries. I also coach youth teams on the proper techniques to avoid injury and serve as a team physician for two area high schools.
