Shawyntee Mayo, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained pediatric cardiologist with more than 15 years of experience. Dr. Mayo has always had a strong interest in disease prevention and is passionate about helping children lead healthy lifestyles in order to prevent cardiovascular disease in adulthood. About Me
In 2017 my family moved here to Jacksonville from Dallas, Texas. My husband and our son enjoy going to the beach and staying active with my parents who live in nearby St. Augustine.
My approach to patient care is it to incorporate the whole family in the treatment plan. My ultimate goal in my preventive practice is to empower families to make heart healthy choices today which will lead long healthy lives in the future.
