About Me
I am the fifth of eight children and have lived most of my life in Florida. I enjoy spending time with my large family and traveling. I also enjoy reading, watching football, and playing sports in the community.
I originally began my studies in sports psychology but realized I wanted to deal with the holistic person. I work collaboratively with the average individual who is going through a rough time. I like to make sure that the individual is comfortable in therapy and feels able to question, offer suggestions, and open up at his or her own pace. I work from a cognitive-behavioral and interpersonal / psychodynamic framework to help the individual gain insight & healing.
I'm involved with my Catholic Church and our chapter of the Florida Psychological Association. I'm also a member of the American Psychological Association.
