Jennifer Ortiz, PsyD, has more than 12 years of professional experience in a number of settings, including mental health clinics, residential treatment, and college counseling. About Me

I was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York and fluent in both English and Spanish. I relocated to Florida in 2012 to obtain my doctorate and fell in love with the warm weather, people and beaches. My husband and I enjoy traveling and experiencing new cultures, going to the beach and spending time with our family and friends.

My philosophy of care is to ensure my client’s needs are understood and met. I accomplish this by individualizing treatment to each client’s unique presenting problems in a supportive environment where one feels safe to explore their thoughts and feelings. I employ a flexible, individualized approach to therapy.
