About Me

My philosophy of care is based on empathy and respect. One should treat as one would want to be treated. This means respecting a patient’s opinion, his education, and his feelings. Respect means allowing the patient to participate in all decisions after providing the necessary knowledge base. Decisions in medical care can have lifelong consequences. Common sense with the right knowledge allows one to be comfortable with even the most difficult decisions.

My wife and I moved to Jacksonville in 1985 from Texas. We have raised three children who live in the Southeast. We enjoy traveling and visiting our children and are very active in their lives.
