Glen Martin Biography and Information
Glen Martin, MD, FASA, is vice president of Medical Affairs for Baptist Medical Center Beaches and Baptist Medical Center Nassau.
Dr. Martin has been a member of Baptist Health’s medical staff since 2005 through his employment with U.S. Anesthesia Partners North Florida, which provides anesthesia services to Baptist Health. He served as the inaugural president of U.S. Anesthesia Partners North Florida from 2017 to 2019 and was on the local Clinical Governance Board from 2017 to 2024.
Throughout his 19 years on Baptist Health’s medical staff, Dr. Martin has held numerous leadership roles, including chief of staff for Baptist Beaches. Additionally, he served on the Medical Staff Quality Management Committee and was chairman for seven years.
Dr. Martin is a board-certified anesthesiologist and an American Society of Anesthesiology fellow. He received his Doctor of Medicine at University of Kansas Medical School and completed an internship at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. Dr. Martin completed his residency at University of Kansas Medical School and a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology at the University of Alabama Birmingham. He received a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri.
Dr. Martin is also medical director and assistant professor in the Anesthesia Department at Nova Southeastern University Jacksonville, where he provides strategic program leadership and teaches.
