It’s here…new high-tech Surgical Pavilion

When it comes to having surgery, you want to feel comfortable that you are getting the most advanced care possible. A new state-of the-art Surgical Pavilion at Baptist Beaches provides high-tech medical equipment in an ultramodern facility, close to home.

The Surgical Pavilion includes seven “smart” iSuite operating rooms with ceiling-mounted equipment, giving the surgeon control of all equipment by voice activation or at the touch of a button. The advanced technology features an in-light HD surgical camera which provides an alternative overhead view of the patient’s surgical area, and allows the medical team to share live images with other specialists when needed.

Before and after surgery, you and your family can visit in private, spacious suites. During the surgery, your loved ones will enjoy a spacious new waiting area with tables for device-charging, private seating areas and a convenient café.

Throughout the center, paintings by local artists depict the natural environment of the beach and help promote a sense of calm and healing for patients and families.

“The new Surgical Pavilion was designed with patient safety and comfort as the top priority,” Hospital President Joe Mitrick said. “This is good news for Beaches residents who can now get the most advanced medical care without leaving the area.”
