Amanda Stevens, MHA

Amanda Emery Stevens, MHA, is vice president of operations for Baptist Medical Center South. Stevens has more than 25 years of progressive health care experience spanning operations, business development, physician recruitment, information technology, service line leadership, marketing and biotechnology. She has been a strategic leader at Baptist Health since 2008. In addition to her new role as vice president of operations for Baptist South, she is also leading Epic implementation for all ambulatory and ancillary services and external-facing applications.

Stevens served as marketing and business development director for the Southern Heart Group, helping lead the 2012 affiliation and launch of Baptist Heart Specialists. She then served as systemwide manager of business development from 2013-2016, followed by director of business development and physician recruitment from 2016-2019. Prior to joining the Epic team, Stevens served as executive director of business development and physician recruitment.

Stevens holds a bachelor of science degree in biological and biomedical sciences from Georgia Southern University and a master’s in health administration from Ohio University.
