Note: This page contains information about Florida Blue's myBlue plan. If you receive insurance through an employer, then you do not have a myBlue plan.
Baptist Health recently reached an agreement with Florida Blue. However, Florida Blue's myBlue members will experience changes to their in-network coverage.
If you are a myBlue member, your insurance card looks like this:
Baptist Health of Northeast Florida and Florida Blue have agreed to a 30-day transition period of in-network benefits for myBlue members with existing appointments, procedures or medical imaging scheduled at a Baptist Health of Northeast Florida hospital or physician office.
Florida Blue has agreed to cover these services at in-network cost share, with normal co-pays and patient responsibility through October 31. We encourage patients to keep their existing appointments.
This 30-day transition period is intended to help ensure patients have timely access to needed medical services.
Florida Blue has matched myBlue members with a new primary care provider.
These remain in-network for myBlue members:
Ages 17 and under will still be covered at Baptist Health hospitals and Wolfson Children's Hospital. Please call Florida Blue with any questions about other coverage after the transition.
Continuity of Care: Coverage may be available for a serious or ongoing condition you were in treatment for prior to October 1, 2024. Examples of conditions that commonly qualify for this limited-time coverage include cancer, ongoing pregnancy, critical care for newborns, end-stage renal disease and more.
