Inspired by a mission trip to Ecuador, she discovered her calling to improve healthcare access and education. With nearly two decades of nursing experience, including trauma, pediatrics, and family practice, Heather's expertise lies in chronic disease management, particularly diabetes. Her passion for empowering patients to lead healthy lives shines through in her care. About Me

Hello, everyone! It is with great joy that I introduce myself as your new family nurse practitioner. I feel incredibly blessed to have a loving husband, who has been my rock for the past 17 years, and together, we are proud parents of a wonderful son and daughter. Our family thrives on sports, and you'll often find us cheering on our children in baseball, basketball, golf, and soccer. My husband's coaching has been a guiding force, instilling lifelong skills in our kids as they grow. When I'm not in the clinic, I cherish spending time outdoors, whether it's running, enjoying the beach, or tending to my beloved garden. Cooking, baking, and experimenting with new recipes are also passions that bring me immense joy.

My philosophy of care is deeply rooted in personal experiences, especially my father's journey. He battled and survived a burst brain aneurysm, diabetes, and cancer. Witnessing his strength and the impact healthcare professionals had on his life inspired my calling to become a family nurse practitioner. My aim is to provide compassionate care, making healthcare easily understandable for families. I believe in empowering individuals to take charge of their well-being, both physically and mentally, and I strive to inspire everyone to be their best selves, even during challenging times. Each patient and their family holds a special place in my heart, and I find immense fulfillment in walking with them through life's hurdles, one day at a time.

Beyond my dedication to healthcare, I am actively involved in our community and support causes that promote overall wellness and vitality. My family and I find solace and spiritual nourishment at River Christian Church, cherishing our church family's support and love. Additionally, I enjoy participating in races such as the Gate River Run and Ameris Bank Half Marathon, embracing the camaraderie and the pursuit of personal growth. I am thrilled to be a part of this community, and I look forward to serving and getting to know each one of you.
