Steven Ross, MD

Steven Ross, MD, is a board-certified cardiac electrophysiologist who specializes in the management of heart rhythm disorders. Dr. Ross was inspired to pursue a career in cardiology by his father, who dealt with valvular heart disease and arrhythmias. Through his studies in the broader field of cardiology, he was drawn to electrophysiology because of a fascination with ECGs and the cardiac electrical system. Dr. Ross strives to develop strong relationships with his patients and aims to formulate effective individualized care plans. His areas of expertise include:

About Me

I was born and raised in Florida and have spent the majority of my medical career at the University of Florida, where I was recruited to remain on faculty after completing medical training. I am excited to continue my career in Jacksonville with Baptist Health. My wife and I have three children (all boys). In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, sports, and being outdoors where I enjoy hiking and fishing.

I strive to develop a strong relationship with my patients and aim to treat people as if they were my own family members. I believe effective management of heart rhythm disorders requires an individualized and patient-centered approach.
