About Me

I am a native Floridian, born and raised in Miami. After spending more than 25 years in the hills of West Virginia teaching medical students and residents, conducting research and providing clinical expertise in Infectious Diseases, I am finally home again. I enjoy scuba diving and practicing the art and craft of large-format photography.

As an Infectious Diseases specialist, I am a diagnostician at heart. I believe that good questions lead to good answers that produce correct diagnoses and good therapies. I enjoy collaborating with my patients to devise appropriate and individualized care plans.

Since 2016, I have made multiple medical missions to Forte Liberte, Haiti. I also serve as an assistant scoutmaster.
